@queen fulcrum Thanks for posting! Please remember, support here is volunteer-based and not official. Be patient after posting, and don’t spam or ask in other channels.
If your issue is about accounts, billing, contact Xbox Support directly.
If your issue is related to an Enforcement action, no one here can help.
To help us help you, make sure to answer:
- What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)
- **What have you tried to do to fix it already? **(List everything you’ve done to fix it.)
- Have you searched the error code or for similar problems? (Tell us what you found.)
If you don’t answer these, you might not get a response.
Just curious, did what we talked about in General Discussion yesterday work for you? Let me know. Thanks
Op can you please respond i wanna know what yall talked about yesterday
Cuz i need help too
What's your specific issue with connectivity and what solutions have you already tried?
ye i tried changing dns yes i power cycled yes i reset mac address idk what else to do
My specific issue
I cant connect to wifi
Like it works sometimes but stops
Is it a series S or X
One s
One S or series S?
One S
Can you plug in an Ethernet cord to see if can connect that way. Because if you can connect to the internet through Ethernet wire, then it may be a wifi adapter issue in your Xbox.
Alr so ethernet does work i shouldev mentioned
My wifi was working great until i moved to the living room where my router is located and i connected my ethernet cable but ever since i moved back into my room it stopped working. Also my cousin gave me this xbox a couple weeks ago and he had the same issue
Could be a faulty wifi adapter issue. I mean it is an older Xbox. It probably is wearing out. They don't even make those anymore. I would just keep it wired if possible. You'll get a better connection anyways.
If you ever decide to get a Series x/s, make sure that you register it on your Microsoft account so that it has a warranty. Xbox will repair your registered devices for free if it has a warranty.
We had a Series S with a wifi adapter issue, and it had a warranty. The repair claim didn't cost us a dime. Plus if Xbox deems your Xbox unfixable, they'll send you a tested refurbished one at no cost. This is all under the register your device section in your Microsoft account
If you or anyone needs help with any connectivity issues, I pop into the General Discussion Voice channels on this server, I would be happy to verbally help you if you ever drop in yourselves. Sometimes texting can be more taxing than talking when it comes to problem solving. ✌️
