I am trying to put my xbox account onto a console that recently had it but not now. When I go to "add new" and put in my email it loads and asks for my password. I put it in then it does a little green loading circle and sends me back to the homepage without adding my account. How do I get my account on it, since its not working?

yes, ive been able to sign in on the website
try power cycling your console and router hold the power button till it turns off and try again.
I tried that and got the same result, however the same thing happened with a different xbox and different account.
