xbox controller doesnt respond to anything except joysticks and can't be resynced

I can't reset the xbox due to the sync button not working either, nor connect to my xbox. It has happened before but the it randomly started working 5 minutes later, but this time it has been almost 7 hours without it working. It is an xbox series X controller thats being used on an xbox one, it has been working for over 2 years without issue, the only thing damaged on it is a battery flap for the + which is slightly loose but it still turns on. Ive looked on reddit and nothing worked due to requiring the sync button or a cable which my controller's port is broken
