So I’ve had this Xbox account since I was a kid, Originally my grandma had set it up with her email, now that I’m older I want to try and remove my Xbox account from her Microsoft account with out messing anything up on her end.
Now i know that I can add alias to the account but if I remove her email, from it can she login back into her Microsoft mail account with the old email or no???

I have an Xbox series x , The Microsoft account related to the Xbox account I was to change the Xbox side to a new a mircosoft with messing up the originally account?
I have research and I heard about the Alias but I want the old account completely removed and made into its separate account ?
It’s tied to the account. You can change the email address, but the games, email, data, etc is still under the same account. In other words you can’t separate it.
