I tried leaving it off for a while it works for abit then turns off and nothing works wont let me play games or watch youtube without it overheating
Firstly, we don't allow discussion of self repair/dismantling hardware. You should also never do that, as that's how things are made worse.
Secondly, is the console actually shutting down with a clear on-screen warning that it did so to prevent overheating?
It just shuts off then i turn it back on then it says keep console cool
Man i really dont want my xbox to break 😭 its my lifeline bruh
Make sure it has plenty of space around it on all sides. Make sure the area is clean and free of dust. It needs a good couple of inches on all sides.
Already have
I just had it vertical playing youtube it played for about 15 mins then shut off again
Prior to it sitting infront of a fan to cool down
Try a factory reset and see if that helps. If not, maybe see about sending it in for repair.
A fan isnt going to help. That will just blow the hot air back at the console.
Ill try that
Its like the fan just doesnt work cause it dont turn on or anything
Factory resetting it doesnt work
Then you try the next step.
I cant send it in for repairs i brought it on ebay its worked for two months perfectly fine
You can still send for repair if you bought from Ebay
Send it to xbox?
