I want to apologize if this is a long message. I am running into an issue where if I play on a wireless connection I can connect and play online. If I connect to wired it connects and says it has internet, but it won’t connect to any game servers like Fortnite, Battlefront 2, and even the Outlast Trials. We even tired with my friends Series X and his works perfectly fine on his Xbox Series X on wired. We tried disabling and enabling UPnP and no result on mine. Is my network card on my Xbox messed up?

To help us help you, make sure to answer:
- What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)
- **What have you tried to do to fix it already? **(List everything you’ve done to fix it.)
- Have you searched the error code or for similar problems? (Tell us what you found.)
If you don’t answer these, you might not get a response.
Before jumping ro the conclusion your network card is brokon you want to troubleshooting. You mentioned you tried resetting upnp what else have you tried
We tried using different cables, different ports on the router and the modem and no dice.
Reseting your router and console for sure, make sure your router firmware is updated and your NAT is open
NAT is for sure open, no fireware updates. The only thing we haven’t tried was resetting the console(keeping the games and apps on it) option.
Most of these we have tried and unfortunately the same results. :,) We haven’t tried port forwarding, but not sure if that would help as much on a wired connection.
My thing is if my Ethernet port was messed up, I would think it wouldn’t even detect the speeds from when we did the network speeds on the Xbox.
You don't need to port forward if your nat is open
Normally simple reseting your router and console will fix it. If there was a hardware issue such as the network card then you normally get a erroeing advising that.
