#Xbox gift card code not working...

You know how you can get messages from Xbox, like updates, purchase rewards points, etc.? Well I got one of those that gave me a $10 gift card, but when I press redeem code option it lets me attempt to get it and after pressing confirm, it says "The code hasn't been activated yet. Contact the seller to activate this code."

What do I do?

I can't do anything because I don't know what to do. I've tried searching for the same issue, but I've had no luck...

are you sure its a genuine message?
Xbox Rewards do not send messages with codes you have to redeem your points with in the rewards section and the funds get added to your account no code is invloved

they are codes but there is no code in the message just redeem that redeems it for you.

I not aware they sending those out at the moment though norrmally just around big sales.
