I recently bought the new Alienware AW3425DW and I use it to play my Xbox Series X. It has a 3440 x 1440 resolution that can detect 4K signals and when I play certain games, it shows 3840 x 2160 (downscaled to 1440p) HDR on. Some games like Marvel Rivals stay locked at 1080p HDR off. Can someone explain why some games run at 4k and others run 1080p?
