Can't login into profile on console

I tried to log into my account with the 6 digit code that you do with the controller but for some reason it wanted me to enter the email's password and it gives me an error?

"Something went wrong
Please try again later.
0x8007003B"

I looked it up and tried:
Checking the internet connection; it's fine
Check for updates; I updated right before
Restarting the console; didn't do anything

I have an Xbox One
