i’ve already tried deleting every game i’m not playing as well as local xbox 360 game data, but every time i open a game it tells me it can’t save locally even though i have 140gb free. my gta story mode progress has been reset and i don’t want to just clear all local saved data in case that happens for other games, not sure what’s going on and would appreciate some help
#xbox telling me i have no space to save game data when i have plenty of storage

If your issue is about accounts, billing, contact Xbox Support directly.
If your issue is related to an Enforcement action, no one here can help.
To help us help you, make sure to answer:
- What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)
- **What have you tried to do to fix it already? **(List everything you’ve done to fix it.)
- Have you searched the error code or for similar problems? (Tell us what you found.)
If you don’t answer these, you might not get a response.
online it says to delete local saved game data when i look up the error code but idk if i can trust my saves are actually in the cloud after my gta progress got reset
I’m having this same exact issue too I deleted some of my old saves and it worked for a little bit but now it’s doin it again
Maybe try and delete so old save data on games you don’t play
But it’ll happen again unfortunately
Like I did that and now I can’t even load one of my games
1tb ssd ? Yea sure lol
Is the error code 0x80830003 ?
yeahhh it is
i’ve been trying but it’s not making a difference
there’s no easy way to see how much saved data storage you have free it’s terribly designed
Yea it’s really stupid it didn’t happen with the Xbox one tho cuz I never got that message on it it seems like it was waaaay bigger like it never ran out but series x data storage shrunk
Now I get why people have a pc lol
the series and xbox one consoles work the same.
Cloud storage for save data is unlimited.
If you play offline or possibly on more than once device then there is only so much data locally that can be used to save and this is what can not be viewed.
Playing online should mean your saves sync with the cloud meaning you should not get that issue. But clearing your local save should fix it.
