@wicked tendon Thanks for posting! Please remember, support here is volunteer-based and not official. Be patient after posting, and don’t spam or ask in other channels.
If your issue is about accounts, billing, contact Xbox Support directly.
If your issue is related to an Enforcement action, no one here can help.
To help us help you, make sure to answer:
- What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)
- **What have you tried to do to fix it already? **(List everything you’ve done to fix it.)
- Have you searched the error code or for similar problems? (Tell us what you found.)
If you don’t answer these, you might not get a response.
you will have to install the call of duty launcher then you can manage what files you want to install.
So you have to download Call of duty and then Block Ops 6 and what you want ie Campaign Multiplayer HD pack Etc etc
If you already had it installed though battlenet you might have to uninstall everything and start again with Gamepass
okay cool thanks
im just installing it again with gamepass eventhough i already have it with battle.net
two games not very ideal but ig i have no other option
When you say 2 games, you mean the launcher and black ops 6? I see what you mean but it is not 2 games. The Launcher lets you manage what you want to install and is the base install files. You then choose what you want.
so you have the base install thats around 30gb and then you choose what you want.
yeah i mean 2 launchers but its not 30 gb its 170 because i guess its downloading the call of duty app again.
i selected only the bo6 options in the drop down menu when it was asking what to install but it said main game is required like i could not uncheck that and the game is 170 gb.
its not letting me post a screenshot otherwise It would have been easier to understand my pov
29.11gb
I did say that if you had the game installed though battle net and now want to play with game pass then you likely need to uninstall and start again with gamepass
Just like if i brought a game though Steam and then got it in the Epic gamestore for free i would have 2 versions of the game installed
But if I download it again through game pass and I do have 2 versions installed is there any downside? Like obviously the download time and it’s not an ideal situation but I’ll be able to play bo6 (from game pass) and mw3 (through battle.net) both right?
Ive put it on download through gamepass either way rn im not sure how its gonnna work but im waiting for all the game pass stuff to download rn
I meanthats what we been talking about. The downside is it take way more storage. Thats why a suggested uninstalling battlenet version.
Okay thanks I’ll uninstall the battlenet version
