Home xBox setting doesn't work properly

I bought a new xbox for a family member because the old one broke down and i wanted to give them my home xbox so they have games and xbox game pass. The home xbox doesn't work as before, they have to sign in my account to get access to any game and game pass but on the old xbox they never had to do this and the website confirms that they don't have to sign in my account.

Is the console they're using set as your accounts Home XBox?

Just to clarify, you need to go into your account on that xbox and set it as home. Not the account that wants access to the games

Yes i know how to set it as home xbox. my account has home xbox on their console

Then it should be working or something has gone wrong on your end
