EA Play with PC game pass (battlefront II) not launching at all

i got battlefront 2 from PC gamepass and whenever i click play whether its from the file, the EA app, or the xbox app, it says "preparing game" then "launching game" then it just goes back to the EA app and doesnt open

ive tried every single fix ive found online and its still having the same problem, i restarted my pc and now xbox app says "VIEW SETTINGS" instead of having the play button on batltewfront 2. the EA app extension is enabled yet i cannot launch the gmae through the xbopx app. battlefront 2 appears in my ea library, and the EA app is open alongside the xbox app, but i cannot launch it from the xbxo app anymore and it still has the same problem where it just brings me back to the launcher after saying "launching game" for half a second
