Hey i'm trying to get help deleting game data to replay the game again but the old files keep coming back up

It depends on the game some games maybe stored on the server side and can not be reset. Those are mainly online multiplayer though.
How are you trying to delate it and what game? Whats coming back exactly?

So i'm trying to play Viva piñata which was originally on the xbox 360 so I don't know if that has anything to do with it but i'm trying to start fresh because there's old save files and if you start up a new garden your money and level will transfer to that new garden which I don't want

you should be able to do that.

I go to the manage games and files and delete saved data but once I delete that and open the game again the saved data comes back out of nowhere

it sounds like you may only be delating the local save/ reserved space. You need to select the option to delate from everywhere. Otherwise the game will resync with the cloud on boot.

I've seen that but once I select reserved space it only gives me the option to clear reserved space there's no option to clear from everywhere
I do have an external storage but it's not downloaded on there it's downloaded on the internal storage

the reserved space and the game save are 2 different things you need to delate the game save from everywhere and clearing the space thing will not hurt but that isnt linked to what your trying to do

the save file here is the bottom one when you click on that you should get a options and one of them is delate from everywhere,
If your only seeing the top option then you have delated it. You may want too try restarting your xbox or reinstalling the game. or seeing if there is a option with in game to start a new game. But it is possible that is just how its going to work for that game.

The game is reinstalling right now

There isn't an option to start a new game but just to make a new garden like save file but it carries your progress which I don't want
Is there a way i can delete it from the cloud or wherever not on the xbox?
Or like on live?

The everywhere option is just that, but has I said at the start sometimes you just can not delate it unusual but its certainly posable.

360 game saves are not in that screen. You need to launch the 360 game and when you’re in there press the menu and view buttons together. There should be an option to manage storage and you need to delete your cloud save from in there.
