I tried to fill out the information on the Xbox game pass screen but it doesnt let me change the country from US to the country that I am in right now.

#

I looked up multiple solutions on youtube, google, etc. nothing worked.

#

I havent searched any error code, and there was no similiar problems at all!

On pc, it uses as store region, whatever region you have selected within Windows settings

#

You need to do 2 things if you’re having this issue on pc

#

First, select the right region on your Microsoft account

#

This is for the Microsoft store region

#

The second thing you need to do is select your region within the time and language settings

#

In Windows

#

After doing both things, your Xbox store region will be set accordingly

#

On Xbox, it is strictly related to your Microsoft account

#

So you just need to do the first thing I mentioned

#

You can pay no matter your region and details you provide, if and only you’re using Paypal

#

Changing the time and language settings on xbox is also mandatory

#

But it only changes your store region if your Microsoft account is set to the same region
