All of my captures from 7-8 years ago are gone. Is there anyway to back them up?

Xbox deleted all old captures a while back. They sent out multiple notifications to advise of this and to give people time to back them up.

Yes, it's too late.
They announced that they were deleting captures over 90 days old. Storage is very expensive and they were storing tons of old captures that people had sitting around.
They gave plenty of notice and multiple reminders so people had time to back things up.

You should see if anything is still stored on your local drives, but 7-8 years likely not
