#Will the Xbox PC adapter work with a Turtle Beach Stealth 600 gen 2? On PC?

Posted this on the Xbox UK Discord. Thought I'd ask here too.

Hi. I've been lurking for a while now but need some advice and/or help 🙏 I brought a Turtle Beach Stealth 600 gen 2. It came without a dongle. Looking at getting a dongle so I can use it on PC/Series X but it's way more than what I paid. Looking at how to connect to Xbox/PC it says an Xbox dongle will also work (question incoming) is the dongle for Xbox only controllers? Or will the headset connect to it? Sorry for my ignorance. Never owned a wireless headset before! 🙏 I do have built in bluetooth/WiFi but that doesn't let me connect to the headset. Apparently I need a dongle (whether an Xbox one or Turtle Beach) the Turtle beach one is £29.99 but that's a lot more than I paid for the actual headset

Just to edit, the Turtle beach headset is an Xbox version. It's got the green on it.

i just dont use it alot. i mostly moved away from competitive games that i use the headset for.

@chilly idol Sorry for the ping mate! Can you help me connect it to my PC? The adapter I have doesn't have a light on it (only a connect button at the end of it) and there's no connect button on my 600 Gen 2.

They switched it up in 2022 and removed the connect button 😭

Well, no issue now I've ordered the transmitter. There's 2 versions. 1 before 2022 and 1 at 2022. 1 comes with a connect button on the headset and the other does not. One uses Xbox official wireless like for the Xbox One X/Series X and then the other uses a USB dongle. Rumbly said it would work with the Xbox adapter (it does not) so he probably has got a different version to me (even their support linked to the one with the connect button).

If it can connect to Xbox using the sync button, it can connect to pc using the adapter.

If it’s not connecting with the series x, pairing might be broken. Check if you need to update the headset or something.

That means your Xbox pairing works. Issue is the headset.

Normally for 3rd party headset, you update with usb using their software on pc.
