Problem With OG Xbox games on the Xbox 360

I've played all these games before i have a xbox 360 E with the Offical xbox 360 hard drive the games are halo 2 halo combat evolved and star wars episode 3 they suddenly just stopped working im not sure whats wrong with it. it keeps giving me the error to redownload the game but im not sure what it means by that because they are disc games and it doesn't work
