#Mic doesn't work only on xbox

I got a new headset, it worked for a couple days, then suddenly it's not working on my Xbox as far as the mic goes. Nothing online has worked, I don't know what to do but it's really really frustrating and I'm hoping by some miracle someone here knows a fix
