#I plugged in a new headset that completely messed up my party and game chat

I bought a new headset (Razer Kraken Pro V3) for my Xbox One, but when I plugged it into my roller, I couldn't hear anything. Then, when I plugged my old headset back in, I could hear my game perfectly fine, but my party chat, and my in-game voice chat does not work. I can be heard because my name pops up on the overlay, but I cannot hear my teammates. I've already tried resetting audio settings, and factory resetting, but nothing has worked.

So far I have tried factory resetting, resetting audio, and updating controller.

My NAT switches from moderate to open, im on adult moderation so vc is open, and I have party chat enabled.

doing a quick search online that headset is for PC not Xbox.

It uses USB A Audio and xbox does not support USB audio in general.

You maybe able to use an adapter to connect it via 3.5m Jack on your controller

i did that

then i plugged my olg headset in and pc and gc is not working

#

but game audio works fine

# safe harbor i did that

if the audio mixer is greyed out this is because the console is not seeing the headset as a stereo headset. That headset is though so it would mean either the Aux port on the controller is damaged or the 3.5mm cable.

Having a Moderate NAT is also going to give you issues hosting party chat and Games too for when you get the headset working you need to sort that or you will unlikley be able to be a host of anything
