Good evening guys,
I have a question… I play on PC and I subscribed to Game Pass to catch up on some games I was interested in, but when I unlock an achievement, I see the notification but there’s no sound, and I can’t record it — whether I’m capturing the screen, the game, using Nvidia, OBS, or Xbox tools.

Is there a way to fix this? I really need to be able to record the achievement pop-ups for YouTube purposes. Thank you so much!

I haven't tried it, but... maybe achievement notifications are considered something extraneous to the game itself, just like they are on consoles.

Although if you're using Windows screen recording at the screen level (not the game or app level), it should capture it. The same goes for other apps, even if you're capturing audio at the system level.

Personally, I try the opposite, capturing without any extraneous sounds or notifications.

You can try to trigger other types of notifications in games other than achievements (which can't be easily reproduced). Maybe some group invites or others might help, but I'm not sure; I usually have everything disabled.
