Help with security protocol

Hi so my xbox won't connect to the wifi so I reset it with keeping game and stuff but now I can't get back on at all it just says your security protocol won't work. i looked a yt vids online but thats before reset i could not find one that i have

what are you trying to connect it too exactly? Are you using a mobile hotspot or public wifi or some weird set up?

the easiest way to fix that error is to use a wired connection

Make sure your router is up to date and that the latest versions of WPA are supported and enabled on it.

Otherwise wired is probably your only option. But you’ll continue to have increasing problems with devices if you’re not up to date on WiFi security.
