#Laggy camera in pc gamepass games

As the title says, the camera (looking around) lags in all the games I've started from the gamepass launcher on PC (I've tried Open Roads, Still Wakes the Deep, Jusant and Avowed). I have tried both with mouse and keyboard, and an xbox controller connected to my pc. Just moving with WASD or the left joystick is fine, that worls as normal and does not cause any lag, but when I move my mouse or the right joystick, the camera lags and jumps all over the place.

This is only the case with games from gamepass, starting up games from Steam, for example, works as expected with no lag from the camera.

I have tried lowering graphics settings in the games, but it does not make a difference. And most of the games haven't been very heavy games to begin with (and it should also cause lag when I move around, not just when I move the camera if it was due to too high graphics).

Does anyone know if I can fix this somehow? There are some games I want to play on there, and it would be really nice if I could steer my camera at all.

I have a 3060 graphics card so my pc is pretty decent and should be able to run these games. It's specifically the gamepass games that I seem to have an issue with. And all games I've tried from there.

I haven't needed to use the camera with GamePass games, but since you're using a graphics card with AI features that may include image processing, have you tried disabling it? See if you have a different virtual camera selected that includes processing, or a similar option?

Also check if there are any CPU or GPU usage spikes with and without the camera enabled in those games.

I suspect it may be trying to default to a virtual camera that includes image processing, which could easily cause lag. Even audio processing can cause quite a bit of lag.

# worldly bluff I mean the camera in the *game*, looking around and stuff.

Wait, of course, if it's a camera that's viewing another screen, it shouldn't have post-processing or be affected by webcam issues or...
Do you mean just vision movement and such, without anything to do with viewing the screen or interacting with another player?
Sorry, I was thinking about very advanced things that may not even exist in any Xbox game.

Check if any global or specific game settings are applied in the Nvidia app. Also, try applying specific optimizations for those games and deactivating them.
Also, try a game that's not on Xbox or Steam to see if the problem persists.

Also, try a game with very low resources or highly optimized games like Doom, which will be easily comparable with other games, videos, etc.

Also, check if changing mouse sensitivity settings changes anything, limiting Hz, vertical sync, etc.

Finally, try completely closing Steam, completely, and don't leave it minimized. It can cause conflicts in specific cases, but it's usually more related to controllers.

Yes, just moving the mouse (or right joystick) to look around, that is the issue. Everything else works just fine, from what I can see. I can move around in the games seemingly without problems, just not look around.

This is only a problem for games I start via Xbox gamepass, games through Steam and other stores work just fine. So I don't think it's an issue with Nvidia.

One of the games I tried is Open Roads, which is a 2D game that is around 2 hours long. I would not expect that to be especially heavy. I even tried lowering the graphics settings but it didn't change anything.

I don't think mouse sensitivity has anything to do with it either, since games from other places work just fine. It's something weird with specifically Xbox games through the Xbox app.

Do you have any idea what I could do? It would suck if I could never play any games on gamepass
