Problem with chat

I can’t send dms to people it just says message not sent and asks to retry and when i click retry it doesn’t send. I’ve reset my Xbox multiple times and it doesn’t the same thing on Xbox app. I can read everyone else’s chats but I can’t send anything back. I know a couple other people having this issue someone lmk if you know how to fix it.

yo, if u can’t send DMs, try any of these:
check ur privacy settings to make sure u can send messages to anyone

clear the cache by holding the power button for 10 seconds, unplugging for 30 seconds, then turning it back on

sign out, restart, and sign back in. also, make sure ur Xbox and app are up to date

try sending messages on the Xbox app on ur phone or PC too. if that still doesn’t work, check ur Wi-Fi or reset the router. if nothing works, it might be a server issue, so maybe email Xbox support.

unfortunately not im assuming its a server issue but it says that everything’s working so
