So this issue has been plaguing me for a while now.
I’ve used the same rechargeable batteries for years now, but their ports wore down until they became basically unusable
So this Christmas I bought new ones. They’re nearly identical, except these new ones are C-type.
That’s fine. What’s not fine is their slight differences in covers.
For some odd reason they changed the covers to a new mold.
And they do not fit on my controllers.
Luckily the old covers are compatible, but I only have two and don’t know where to find the old ones.
I’d send a photo but I can’t.
Was wondering if anyone knows where to purchase the older battery covers.
Though I will note, the covers work on one of my controllers. I also got it during the holidays and it seems to be a slightly different design from my others. Did Microsoft change the Xbox One controller design again?

You might be able to find one used. The xb1 controllers have been replaced by the series controller, they’re slightly smaller than the xb1 model.
