It has been 6 years since the xbox elite series 2 controller, and I think it's time to release a new one.
My suggestions:
Hall effect joysticks (PLEASE its a must have nowadays)
Better build quality consistency - some controller have amazing build quality but others have bad quality, make all the controller's build quality good
Make it have mechanical buttons - the ABXY buttons will feel a lot better, and put mechanical buttons on the lowest trigger stop, so it feels like a mouse button which is a lot better
PLEASE keep the customization of the elite series 2 - keep the changeable dpad, changeable thumbsticks, changeable, reassignable and removale of the back paddles, 3 profiles and keep it have the software extra stuff too
Make it have a 1000hz pulling rate for lower inout delay
