I seem to get points for playing games and also as they are GamePass games?
What can I do with these points?

If you mean GamerScore that you get for unlocking achievements, they can't be used for anything.
If you mean Rewards Points, you can buy gift cards and memberships with them.

Personally I have no idea, they just appear that I have collected ten of them over and over on the Xbox-notifications.

Yeah. You can save those points and use them towards buying games or orher things on XBox.
