can i use a usb mic on xbox without having to join on xbox app on my laptop cause i have the astro A10s the sound is amazing but the mic is terrible and was thinking of buying a usb mic but then i wanted to know if usb mics even work on xbox

Ok. Good luck with that. A good setup can cost $100. A cheap setup can add other issues like audio feedback. Which you can fix by adding more adapters.
But like I said, the quick answer is no.
