@tender drift Thanks for posting! Please remember, support here is volunteer-based and not official. Be patient after posting, and don’t spam or ask in other channels.
If your issue is about accounts, billing, contact Xbox Support directly.

- What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)

Its not about games or anything, my controller closes automatically because of inactivity.. i play from keyboard and mouse by the way
Which game are you playing?
Also, please don't post in General and the same thing in here.
I don't know if it will work for all games, but this is what I do for CoD - Turn the console on, turn off the controller, launch the game with your keyboard.
I have 60%
No arrows
Im playing fortnite
Sorry
Anyway i did but when i joined the game it said controller is off
And i had to turn it on
Another option to try is taking the batteries out of the controller and plug it in via USB. Some people have reported that works, others have said it doesn't.
If it doesn't, you'll just have to nudge the stick every now and then to stop it turning off. It's not handled very well on console unfortunately.
I plugged usb in controller and removed batteries, it does work for my friend but not me
I dont get the other part
Maybe its a setting
Off the console
Need a power/data cable. Your cable might be data only if it doesn’t turn on. If it turn on, but still turns off after inactive, then it’s a power only cable.
