Can’t upload a picture but the headset in question is the official Xbox wireless headset with the turntables/dials on each side of the earphones allowing you to adjust volume and party chat/game chat mix.
This thing works perfectly find on my console but the moment I try to connect it to PC all hell breaks loose.
It connects to Bluetooth fine, however, I’m unable to use the microphone or even get proper audio sometimes in the game I play.
I get two audio options when using my headset:
Xbox wireless headset stereo
Xbox wireless headset (hands-free audio AG) or something like that.
It seems like no matter what I do I just cannot get the mic to work. Even with the sliders on the side of the headphone, I get nothing.
The headset is capable of picking up my voice it just doesn’t properly work on PC (assuming because of the Bluetooth).
Sometimes I can hear game audio but no voice chat and vice versa.
Sometimes I can hear both voice chat and the noises in game but they are very muffled/muddy.
Sometimes choosing either option has input or output I straight up get no audio all together. And sometimes I’ll get a jarring noise similar to what you hear when a game crashes.
Regardless, the mic does not work properly in any situation, any help would be appreciated as I don’t usually play on my Xbox and competitive computer games are hard to play without communication.
