Hi I want to make block my left bumper instead of left trigger in chivalry2 (way too used to darksouls). Do I still need to buy an "elite" controller to remap triggers/bumpers if the base game itself does not allow button remapping?
Can it be any elite controller? Does it have to be the series 2 or wtvr?

Also are there third party knockoffs I can try instead of the elite?

yes you would need a Elite either the frist one or series 2.
Yes there are 3rd party controllers like the elite that support remapping.

Ok so just anything with elite in the name (official Microsoft x box at least) I should be good to go?

you need a controller that supports controller remapping.
Doesnt have to be the xbox Elite but that controller does support remapping.

Oh are there any other official Microsoft Xbox controllers that may be a bit cheaper than the elite that support bumper/trigger remapping?
