Controller now pairs to laptop instead of console when using laptop as a power source

that's really confusing what are you trying to do exactly?

do you want the controller to work on your xbox when pluged into your laptop ?

Yeah just because I don’t have batteries and my USB cable won’t reach the Xbox from where I’m at

It worked yesterday but switched up today

you will need to either plug using a cable into the xbox or get battery pack/ battery pack

you can also plug it into a wall and not the pc

it wont pair with your pc from the wall :)
