when i set my refresh rate to 120hz on my xbox series s, it remains on 120hz when im in xbox menus and stuff, but as soon as i open any game the refresh rate goes back to 60hz, how do i fix?

Yes and the HDMI cable supports 120hz too
Ive tried on 1080p and 1440p it happens on both
