#My xbox menu keeps having a delayed open time and freezes

I was trying to join my friends party but it wouldn't let me move where im selecting or click on stuff after that i open it and close it but than it was still there i have to wait like 20 seconds for it to go away and ive tried turning off and on xbox but that didnt work
