#Still Worth Signing Into Xbox Live On Xbox 360? (Read Desc.)

I was just wondering if after the server shutdown, is there any functions on the 360 only exclusive to Xbox Live that make it worth still recovering my email after all this time? If so, long story short, to recover my long lost yet recently rediscovered Xbox 360 account email, I’ll have to pay around $50 to retrieve it back because of reasons I won’t get into. But if there’s nothing that makes it worth it, I might consider recovering access to my old email some other day in the future. Please let me know your opinions. Thank you.

I’ve only recently hooked my Xbox 360 back up so i haven’t been keeping up to date with its stuff as much, so i’m also not entirely sure what the “server shutdown” is, or what parts of it are down. The entire console? just a mass amount of games? idk

only the 360 store is shutdown. u cant buy any game digitally except for the backwards compatible game.

u could still use physical discs for games.

if there is any game would never played and cant play on any other system then u should definitely get back to it

dont believe so. xbox live is only needed for online play.

sorry i just dont remember much of 360 aside from storfront being shut down. I havent used my 360 since 2015

You can still connect to Xbox live on xbox 360 and you do not need a membership to do so. You only need core (Gold) membership for online multiplayer.

If you own a game and it is in the download history you can still download it still works they said it would always work after the store was gone
