#Xbox controller Not syncing.

I have 2 controllers and one of them started acting up, it disconnected from the console and when I tried to pair it again the pair button is not working and the logo is blinking slowly and not how it down when ur pairing it.

I swapped batteries and everything else you can think of but it wouldn't work, my other controller worked with the fault one's batteries aswell.

Today I tried again hoping to see if it worked or not and it did, it started pairing and I played for a little bit before putting it away.

Now it's not pairing again, I don't know what happened at all.

I'd like to know if I can use a Usb to c cable to play with it, and if any cable would work or if someone could recommend me one

I don't want to pay for a repair, that's why I'm wondering if a cable will work if the sync button is tweaking

Any USB C to USB A cable will be fine

Just make sure its a data cable and not a charging cable

I've tried a few usb to c cables I found but they didn't work, mostly used for charging

a charging cable is fine as long as it can do data transfer.
USB C -A

USB C to C will not work as there is no USB c on the console.

I updated it using the other controller but no fix, power cycled both the console and controller

The cable works but the buttons don't

It's the Alphabet button and the D-Pad, in recalibration all other buttons worked
