To help us help you, make sure to answer:

  • What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)
  • **What have you tried to do to fix it already? **(List everything you’ve done to fix it.)

Modern electronic devices are designed to be left plugged in.
In the case of the Xbox console this allows for faster boot up, nightly updates, remote play, etc.

There's no need to unplug it unless you're going to go weeks or months without using it. If you use it every week I wouldn't unplug cables... and even then, it would be more convenient and efficient to have something with a switch to turn it off than to keep removing and replacing cables.

# flat escarp Do you have an xbox bro?

I have a desktop, laptop, TV with cloud gaming, and Xbox Series X and Series S consoles. I don't unplug any of my devices.

If you haven't understood something I've mentioned due to the translation and need clarification, you can comment.

And I personally use it daily to take advantage of the GamePass rewards.
