#need help with xbox app and its permissions

okay, so i have installed xbox app on my iphone xr to be able to record my xbox series x game sessions for youtube, along with my voice, but anytime i try to go into remote play to record.

A) It says go to bluetooth setting to connect a controller or continue with touch, and when i do go to device settings, it closes the remote play and doesnt do anything. as well as the xbox app not even REQUESTING bluetooth perms

B) i click continue with touch, my controllers joysticks work for game menus, but no other buttons work outside of the xbox menu.

C) i connect my controller to the xbox instead, says to connect a controller to device, i manage to get that prompt to leave, i click on start recording, "recording started" i check to see if its recording, "start recording."
