#Ubisoft not connecting to Xbox gamepass

I'm trying to download a game that requires me to connect my ubisoft account to my xbox gamepass account. I do this but it keeps telling me "failed to load content". I had this issue before but I can't remember how I fixed it, any help is appreciated.

I've tried restarting the xbox gamepass app and that's about it, googling didn't help me.
