I'm kind of interested in this but I never played PoE and don't know if I should get to that first.
Ohhhh pillars of eternity, I was wondering what path of exile had to do with avowed ๐
Yeah I read that it's in the same universe as Pillars.
I never played PoE but the bits i seen of Avowed look interesting. I will try it as its on gamepass.

Looking good according to reviews ๐
I didn't know there was a premium upgrade available for game pass people. Off to make a purchase
Yeah, you get an art book and early access. No DLC content or anything.
looking at the reviews....i see the trends continue
As someone that has played PoE1 and Deadfire... This one is absolutely ridiculous and disappointing. Yep, that kind of trend continues, and destroys once more๐
Edit: also, it's very concerning how these kinds of games are increasingly populating the Game Pass subscription, while the ones that are truly great gems of Uniqueness and Creativity are getting removed from it. So sad, so damn sad.
So the game is not good?
You should post that in game events as well
how does this game relates to pillar of eternity?
Should i play as a blind chinese monk lol
Deadfire stuff is referenced in it
Referenced straight away in first area
I'm about 8 hours into it, and I've barely touched PoE 1 & 2, I'm sure there is lore and story connections I'm missing, but I wouldn't say it's required.
Curious to know if anyone had respawn bug in the fort
Enemies didn't spawn I mean but fixed with reloading
Played PoE so long ago, don't remember much tbh
Referenced in a weay that might be spoilers if you want to play PoE later?
Nah not really
i never played much of either game. is it in the same timeline
talk to me like im 5 years old
I like they give you option to hide god touched features . But like I wish they had more god touched hair options. Having huge roots sticking out of my head or big barnacles just isnt appealing.
avowed will not leave game pass right? its a first party game correct
Anyone played Avowed for a good chunk amount of time? I wonder if someone can tell me if the game dialog choices really matter in a gamethrough? I came from bg3 where almost every dialog deceided a part of my fate in the game. Especially with the dices n stuff like that. Is avowed having these kind of mechanics too? Or is it already deceided and are these choices there just to let the player think he deceides something ๐
Your choices matter, yes
Yes
This very much is a sequel to Pillars of Eternity 2
do we need to play that before avowed?
Depends on whether you want literally any context for what half the major people I've met in Avowed are talking about, lol. They bring up the events of Deadfire a lot
i played deadfire but i only played it long enough for the achievements
I played like 20 minutes of it cuz I don't do CRPGs, so nothing in Avowed makes a lick of sense to me ๐
i played the deadfire on pc just long enough to get all the achievements so 10 minutes at best lol
whats crpg?
sub-genre of RPGs, computer RPGs like Baldurs Gate, Wasteland, Divinity Original Sin etc
involves a lot of saving and re-loading
i really dislike those
hm forgot we can't stream an installed xbox game
on web browser, it's too murky and laggy
You probably won't find a game that will have deep choices the way bg3 does though.
Been playing on the hardest difficulty. And enemies kill you in about 2-3 hits. ๐
Gotta prepare and make more grenades and food.

Super hard difficulty not for me ๐ turned it down to normal for a more chill but moderate challenge . ๐
I'm on Easy
Nothing wrong with that! What ever difficulty your comfortable playing on and can have fun !๐
does series consoles have ray tracing like pc?
what do people think of the game so far?
I played for just over a hour yesterday and will play some more shortly I enjoying it so far. Some of the fights are quite tough at the start of the game.
apparently this comes in really helpful later in the game
Definitely ,I saw that on a tip video on YouTube. I totally missed it in settings. Im like theres no way ill find these totems for these cool bonuses before I beat the game xd
Uninstalled the game to try streaming it. Performance is better, not much lag. It's too blurry and compressed though.
It won't be leaving GP anytime soon so will get back to it maybe another time. Seemed good for the first few hours
Performance has been fine for me. I have it installed.
Stream quality seems to be better now late at night
looks like there's an update today
I like it
@weary zephyr Posted vids have to follow server rules.
There were games in a fantasy setting before Skyrim, shockingly.
Anyone else having sound issues? I had to turn voices up to 100 then turn my tv up some more to hear the voices . Then the music and sound effects was too loud so had to turn them down. I turned both down to like 5 and they still sound loud.
It is a very enjoyable game so far. I'm 15 hrs in, no glitches or save game errors. I am just in my own tempo exploring the lands. The land is beautifull with the lightning and all. Character faces are a bit wack thou.
Onwards to explore and kill more spiders๐
๐
Yea i been enjoying it too. Honestly the exploration is probably my favorite part. If an area looks interesting and you think it might be worth going to and checking out. It usually pays off. I feel like mt exploration is rewarded but at same time not hand holdy and guiding me to the rewards and loot. If that makes any sense. ๐
i turned off game music so i can hear the "treasure/item" jingles better. And when i hear it.. i just gotta find it๐.
yeah! I'm really enjoying just walking around and seeing what I find :)
yeah the music overrides the voices and jungle of the cheats in some areas. It was supose to be fixed in yesterdays update. But its still off in some areas.
opening avowed finally

am i the only one who sets this brighter than it says to? ๐
I always set those things brighter than advised.
It's like. that's the optimal setting for atmosphere, but optimal for my tired old eyes seeing things is different and I will gladly sacrifice atmosphere to that.
yeah i end up getting annoying at the squinting to see lol
Maybe I would accept the intended settings if there were a button to turn on item highlighting, or extra bright light for a second.
oooh yeah that wouls be great
This doesn't exist? Sad, it's a great accessibility option
there is an item shimmer thing listed. but i havent started playing it so im not sure how it is. still just doing the settings ๐
The accessibility options in AC Valhalla are quite funny.
You can turn on a subtitle for cues in the environment you would normally only hear.
love that
So you see the words "wealth jingling" a lot.
๐
i do like subtitles for enviromental stuff, but thats funny how it was named
im liking that i can set how long the subtitles stay on screen in this
It's even funnier because it seems to apply to almost anything you can loot, not just money.
now to spend an hour on character creation /hj
Such a great feature. It's been a game changer for my deaf friend
Yeah it really is an incredible feature, it's just the specific word choices are funny sometimes.
hype- story mode option
Shame it also has an achievement for completing on the super hard difficulty.
yeah :(
i get it, but i def wont ever get that lol
I feel like these shouldn't exist
Depends who you ask. Some folks seem disappointed when you can get all the achievements for "playing the game normally". They want the achievements (or at least some) to for extraordinary feats.
That's why I said it's how "I" feel. I feel like anyone should be able to get the 100% completion and I really dislike trophies/achievements,like that. But that's mostly because I know I don't be getting it and will end up either with 1 missed, or won't bother chasing them because of that 1 existing.
Fair, you did. Sorry about that.
I mean, I actually feel the same way, but I've heard the other perspective.
Yeah, I agree. I don't think difficulty level should be involved with achievements. If you want to add in something challenging, then do it some other way.
What I hate even more is when you have to beat the game on multiple difficulty levels and they're not all unlocked from the start, so they expect several playthroughs.
It definitely messes with the game completion stats that some of you chase
Yes, or when beating it on hard doesn't unlock the easier difficulty achievements
I think yes, that is pretty objectively an annoying choice.
Yeah, that too. Really bugs me.
There is a setting that highlights all loot and breakable objects.
Huh. Thatโs nice to have.
the highlight helps a little yeah.
im not a fan of the movement of the mini map. but i'll get used to it.
well, compass i guess is what its called
๐คฃ
I have a magic electric pistol, big fan ๐
Also, I keep forgetting that holding down RT when you're using a ranged weapon lets you do power shots
im not too far in, but i like it so far
i think it will take me a long time to finish
Just a warning: The item upgrade economy is horrendous, just hoard everything and sell it so you can buy better tiers of gear instead
can you rephrase that because i dont understand what you mean by that
You can upgrade your gear to higher tiers using materials you find, but it takes ridiculous amounts of said materials so it's not worth it. Just hoard all the loot you collect and sell it then buy higher tier gear from shops instead
oh ok. thanks for the tip
item upgrade economy is expensive but you do not get much for selling and its fairly expensive to buy good gear.
I been playing 4 days a lot of hours and just now leaving first area soon. Though I also explored everything and doing all side quests.
I think its actually better to break down all gears except uniques for materials. And if your lacking in materials shops have them for relatively cheap
I've been pretty tired today, so im just doing a couple hours at a time. but its fun so far
But so far I found all the materials I needed to upgrade my gear buy just exploring breaking down items and doing quests.
Im doing my usual playstyle shield and one hand tank/dps. What about you?
Rocking melee, range, magic or somewhere in between?
swapping between a wand/shield combo and a bow atm
Also pro tip. Always buy lock picks from any vendor you see that have them. Their cheap and super handy . For locked doors and chests
yeah i figured lol
first person i saw selling them i was like.. yeah all of those are mine
You cant make them. But occasionally find them as loot buy most time gotta buy from vendors
i am playing on story mode, so i'll see how that goes when i get to lockpicking things
Locking is just hold down to unlock
its a good thing that the game wont leave game pass anytime soon
100% chance always
They don't break just get used uo
Up
But some doors or higher tier chests takes multiple lockpicks to open.
is the lockpicks like those breakable ones is fallout or starfield
Iโm pretty tired of those old mini games. I used to save scum them.
valid tactic lol
I mean I always liked Bethesda lockpicking.
It did get annoying if you didnt have any perks in lock picking and came across a high tier lock tho
That was one of the things I always got in Bethesda rpgs first. A couple tiers in lock picking xd
i found them to be fun in the beginning and then quickly become just annoying lol
the longer into the game the more i am like.. ok i solved this puzzled 8 times. pls skip
yeah. I still havent reached the first port after u got the the boat
How? The boat literally puts you on the port xD
i have been binge watching my tv shows
lol ok fair
Ah
we all have done the long pause situation
plus i have keep restarting cause i hated how my character look like
Me other day I was playing different game forgot all about avowed even turned xbox off. Came back went to play and it was still on resume. I was pretty impressed it saved resume function even after having xbox off
remind me avowed is a first party game right? so it will probably wont leave game pass
Idk all I know is it made by obsidian.
Quick Resume saves a snapshot of the game state to the SSD. It should be fairly durable.
its going to take me many months to finish so i hope not lol
Ill probably have it finished by end of next month...maybe.
100 percent or story only?
100%
I'm dual wielding grimoire and a pistol, it's great ๐
breaking down Unique items can give you adra
I might start doing that tbh, I have unique melee weapons I don't use cuz I'm a pistol mage
True but you wont ever get those uniques back. If you want to test out different builds.
And adra can be found on vendors.
I just break common, and sell fine i dont intend to use, all the uniques i keep. I like the fact that you can unburden by sending stuff to your camp. Mostly hording all is what i tend to be doing in these games. I also buy up all health and magic potions, ohw and keys. Always rough when you get to the end of a dungeon and you lack a key๐
Same. After I get so far in the game with my build. I may start breaking down some of the uniques I know ill never use though.
And in battle, take out the healers/wizards/shamans whatever depending on the species first otherwise the fight is unnecessary hard and you will be gulping potions like its new years eve
Almost impossible on the hardest difficulty (the one im on) if you dont take out the healer and conjurers early your doomed.
And somewhat above, i agree on the darkness. I am walkinh with my flaming sword but it doesnt illuminate jack
I got brightness just a tad higher then default . Been working. I didn't want to make it too bright and ruin the vistas xD
true, dont want that washed out filter!
Writing something here to get this chat pinned, if that works ๐
did it work?
Yeah, it did
pistol mage sounds fun might have to try that.
how far are you in the game? my current quest is sending me to dawnshore.
Still relatively early. Got to Paradis, explored the whole area in town, now I'm finally out and about doing quests, reached level 7 after clearing one of the entangled stones
I really enhoy how the game handles unique locations, they each feel distinct and with its own layout and puzzles
ok i was gonna share what happend to me but i dont wanna spoil anything.
ya there was this broken bridge when i was off to find the seeker...spent an hour trying to find a way to get over there when the solution was in my hands the whole time lol
I only play games on the hardest difficulty anymore
Sounds exhausting
Makes them feel more authentic vs powering through it all
A game on an easier difficulty, or default difficulty, doesn't necessarily mean it's one that you'd power through. Games can still be challenging and long.
i dont have the skill anymore to do that. got old my reaction time is getting slow. and also with not alot of time for games i just want to get through it. if i get to the end at all lol.
I just want to enjoy it, not the youngest also and dont want to be on the edge of my couch endlesy dying to get better at avoiding hits. Only thing that really changes on harder settings is you die quicker and the enemy die slower.๐. But to each their own enjoyment of what and how to game in their free time.
also thank god for internet, those treasure maps.. geez๐คญ
im not far enough into the game to get a tresure map yet.
playing on story mode is still challenging on this game, as a note. its honestly nice to not just be handed it with one hit weapons lol
juuuust enough that i feel like im still getting a good experience
found my frist bug with the find rangers side mission. I was attacked as I went to talk to the NPC and now she will not play her cut scene when trying to talk to her. Anyone else had this?
i havent done that one yet, but i was planning on it today.. will let you know
i will never get over killing a thing and looting it and it being like.. a body part
is so weird ๐
loot: enemies tongue; just casually
You know what's even weirder, though, Tes?
When you have a quest to gather 8 moose tongues, and you kill a moose only to discover it had no tongue!
not wrong!
That happens a lot in MMORPGs and it's fine but if you think about it...
hahaha i never thought about it that way, but both things are equally odd
like.. i killed a spider and then like.. only get 1 leg?
where are the other legs??
Yes, that was the other thing I had in mind. I didn't mention it directly, but you got there! Or claws! Creatures have more than one claw! Or fang!
aaaa my game crashed
luckily i had saved from paranoia a couple minutes ago
restarting with fingers crossed
Nice. So far I have not had a crash. Hope that was the last time it happens for you.
it loaded up just fine, so i'm happy enough
Howโs the game on Xbox Series X? I kinda want to try it out soon! :0
Pretty solid
Nice! One thing Iโve been seeing here and there is some peopleโs Xbox Series Xโs shutting down while playing the game. Should wait for the game to get receive more updates or should I just try it out soon?
I'm ten hours in and I haven't had that happen
Nice. One thing I saw in common was theirs were launch consoles. ยฏ_(ใ)_/ยฏ
Iโll give it a shot then! :D
Noticed you can install via Battlenet as well with gamepass, thatโs interesting they give you the choice. I might do that if the Xbox achievements sync up properly
Having 0 issues on series X,played a good few hrs on sat and again on sunday. No crashes. Also you can set autosave time, so if you fall/fail or crash it doesnt put you back a huge time..
no problems here either
Seriously still having fun lol
It's really not my typical sort of game but it's been great. Story mode ftw.
Iโm glad to hear!
its on Series S/X, Windows & steam and also on gamepass/cloud no word if it come to other platforms
ON the one hand, Obsidian Studios are a an Xbox Gaming Studio. On the other hand, Xbox games kinda go everywhere these days. So who can say?
Seems quite likely at some point
just download the xbox app dad๐
Do you think it could contend to be game of the year or far to early to tell
could be
I would vote for it , but it's also only February ๐
too early.
Yeah I hope they do a DLCs if they keep the momentum and Avowed is still been talked about it have a high chance
I like the game. But nah I dont think its game of the year material.
i did not have this issue :(
hope you got it fixed or sorted out
Lets be honest. GTA 6 will probably take goty if it actually releases this year.
โ๏ธ
Indiana Jones should be the Xbox game that gets the GOTY nomination tbh
Its not groundbreaking or outstanding, so GotY is a bridge too far. But it need not be to be a fun experience.
Also on another note beware you cannot keep playing after the final mission. It will hint you when you get to the final mission. I am not there yet but i went to search for possible DLC and i stumbled upon that piece if information.
Also no NG+, which is a severe ding against a game that doesn't let you keep playing after you beat it. The grind in Avowed is meh enough that I have zero desire to do it again on a second character, I'd love to go through everything on NG+ tho
Sounds like base game Fallout 3 situation
thanks for letting me know I had to reload my save to before I took this quest and request the quest again, and that fixed it.
Making sure to keep lots of saves is a must it seems
Glad I saved before handing in a certain quest time. First dialogue option bugged out the quest ||mermaid's den||
Makes sense to wait a bit after launch if you're buying the game outright
second reload, it worked fine. No idea how it happened. NPC just acted as if I never had the quest item
I HATE how electric status effects will endlessly trigger on your squad because they'll just shock each other back and forth forever
yeah its a bug
I wasnt sure if i was going to like this game im not a real big elder scrolls fan. but im really digging the combat and exploration in this. story is kinda meh but im having fun with it.
I will probably come back to avowed when i have the time
Having fun with it so far will pick back up on it after Iโve spent some time in monster hunter
I am supposed to be changing areas but I can't leave bc I haven't found everything yet ๐
find all the thingssss
Same. I found every single thing I could before I left first area. XD
I've found a lot in the second area. But I dont think ill find everything. (Its bigger area) ๐
this is a game i will probably end up buying even though its on game pass
its been a long time since ive been invested in a game thats main point isn't cuteness
Same probably on steam eventually
i'll just get it on xbox. dont want to have to start the game all the way over haha
I didnt get too far yet
its on pc so it doesnt matter what platform it comes from, to me
I just prefer steam for the fps counter on steam
doing the same i should be heading to emrald stair but i keep finding more things.
I do the same. If itโs a game I REALLY like I will buy it. Physically first if possible. I like to think of game pass as a trial for games.
support the devs
I have to say as someone that didnt play Pillars of Eternity. I went in not expecting to much and I can not put the game down. I did look at the upgrade pack but just for 2 skins not worth it. If they had have added 1 or 2 DLC packs in the upgrade but of course charged more I would have happily upgraded no question of it.
I agree!
Im nearing the end of the game. I started to skip all the side quests half way through the second zone. Was not interesting at all. The main story is decent enough to make me want to see the end. The combat is pretty good, where the game shined most for me was the environment and exploration.
Yeah the side quests really don't reward you much
Im lvl 18 atm, i am still as much sidequests as possible. The exploration is what keeps me doing them. That furry lady voice is getting annoying tbh..๐๐
ya i just met her im hope i dont have to talk to her much ๐
also surprised me how much buffs you can eat n drink, and god the "fireworks" the magic attacks bring to the screen.. sometimes a bit too much, but its colorfull and sparkly๐คญ
I am almost done on vacation and gonna get my hands on Avowed this weekend. Ive seen tons of different reviews. And first and foremost question i have. Is this game more a rpg or more of a action adventure game?
just think of it as skyrim on a smaller scale. if you just rush into fights without upgrading your gear or making sure you have enough food and potions you will be at quite a disadvantage depending on where you are on the map.
Greetings Envoys, A new patch is now live! This update brings important fixes and improvements, so be sure to update your game when it becomes available. We truly appreciate all of your reports and feedbackโitโs invaluable in helping us identify and address issues to improve the game. Your suppor...
Upgrade materials (metal, wood, leather) are now more consistently available across stores in each region.
Upgrade materials now properly refresh when store stock updates.
praise the gods
Doesnt help me now. I already beat the game ๐
It is nice though. Although I didn't really come across material issues, got most of what I needed from monsters and looting around the world.
Though to be fair I did stop exploring and upgrading half way through second area, turned it on story mode and just went through the main quests
Honestly if they're gonna drop good updates that quickly I might wait a month or two to finish it so it plays better, lol
I do think the upgrade system and its material cost stop me from trying different unique weapons. I mean, the non uniques are just there to break or sell, i hardly pay attention to them. But I'm not sure if i'm better off selling or breaking them for small material gain.
What is found in the wild or from enemies does not refresh, so the only option is to move forward or to refresh stores. So you could play the go to camp n sleep but that breaks the flow.
Also lots of unique stuff but i don't feel any real advantage from any weapon.. its just make sure you have enough health/magic potions. Watch those bars, kill their healers first and you will be fine. Wether you play with your wand(pun intended), or axe, bow, pistol or lance.
The exploration and ooeee i hear a shimer is the main plus, but i mostly dont look at what is a actually in the treasure, or what the uniqueness is.. just put it in me bag and go forward๐
Still enjoyable but there is very little depth in building your character imo.
For now onwards to The Garden!
Material upgrading gets heinous once you start dealing with Superior gear
I'm on the ||fourth|| map and honestly feel like I should drop the game til we get more updates, the grind is absolutely not worth it
note that in the Crafting tab of the Upgrade screen, you can create higher level materials from lesser ones
I know, it doesn't really help once your gear is Superior +2 and leveling it more requires way too much of the higher tier materials. I've explored like 80% of the first three maps and done all the side quests besides building totems, and I've killed a LOT of random creatures. The material drop rate isn't high enough to support upgrading higher tier gear, or at least not for more than one weapon. I've been using the same pistol for a while now because I literally can't acquire enough materials in the game to upgrade more than just it to the level needed to carry me through endgame
Tempted to do this lol but early days for me. How long did it take to beat the game?
After having just slogged through to get the achievements for maxing a weapon and an armor, I can say I did not enjoy that. There is a skill in the ranger tree that can make your upgrades cheaper (what that really means is combining lesser components into greater is cheaper by 25%, so instead of needing 4 you need 3, and that definitely helped, only wish I'd done it much earlier in the game). Buy components at all the merchants (especially the cheaper stuff, not necessarily the adra). Merchants do restock eventually (didn't pay close enough attention, but by the end I was going to camp, then circling through the merchants and repeating to buy stuff). Just hit the point of no return...we'll see how it ends
Yeah I'm not enjoying the late game upgrade grind, I put the game down for a bit til we get more QOL updates
I'm getting materials from breaking down stuff too, especially the unique stuff
Yeah I broke down everything that doesn't work for my build, there's not enough skill points or materials in the game to experiment anyway
just as i said/typed๐. For me, almost towards the end i just run with what i have. I hope for new players in the future they add or change the material-upgrade system
After I stopped achievement hunting it and turned it down to easy mode and just did the main story. About 20 ish hours.
I like the reference in that second achievement name.
Does my choices really matter? In the beginning of the game ||ibetrayed these 2 people who had murdered 2 people and tried to escape the living lands||/ after that nothing happend. The captain said I will deal with them but then its like nothing happend at all. I went back to the room and they werent even murdered they were just despawned out of the game
yes, some of the choices matter.
But in this specific situation? It didnt matter at all? Or will I get the reaction to this matter later on?
this is a good website to check (there are going to be obvious spoilers) https://game8.co/games/Avowed/archives/498815
Is fior mes already the 2nd zone of the 3 zones?
i dunno i havnt gotten any further thats where im at now lol.
i havnt played in about a week been working alot of overtime.
fior mes is the 2nd zone out of 5
1 Dawnshore
2 fior mes
3 Shatterscarp
4solace keep
5 finial area ( the Garden)
Iโm addicted to this game
it's so fun!
The game is Sad since we can't free room After the final Boss...
you can just reload your save to Solace keep, provided you saved
This game looks so good I have 79 hours in it so far. Pretty much finished the game but haven't gone though the the last area. Just exploring and running side quests upgrading
Guys what points i put?
I on lvl 25
Need some help And ideias
whatever you like! I stuck to the Ranger skills because that works well with my playstyle
there's no wrong answer and you can always recpec
I've been mixing and matching the ranger and wizardy stuffs
Cause the food thing is a++
Ohhh alr
i think it is gonna really depend on your play style and what weapons etc you like to use
im not really into melee builds so i dont put much into anything for that sort of thing :)
whatsup people. i have 3 skulls showing for the next main story. the animancy method. should i not start that till i get better gear?
The skulls show how difficult the mission will be based on your level and gear. 1 the lowest. It doesn't mean you can't run the mission if you like a challenge.
But yes I would advise you run side missions to level up and explpor
as a chronic overleveler... ๐ yeah get better gear
But it's up to you how you want to play the choice is there
ok cool thanks. im level 9 so far. just starting out. but loving the game so far
Story wise im done with emerald stair and can move on to shatterscarp but im just exploring looking for hidden stuff.

Companions with the Shocked status effect no longer electrocute the player when nearby.
One of the most annoying things during my playthrough fixed!!
More skill points!
Hi new Avowed and i am mage style how should i allocate my attribute points and how do we get total?
However u want. U could always respec
kk, is it better to sell or dismantle for parts/resources?
Dismantle
Is the update Now can free room After The final Boss or not?
no, you can just save and reload a save if you want to free roam
Oh alr
which is kinda sad tbh, hoping for dlc to fix it๐
I wouldn't hold your breath on that Outer worlds got DLC but never free roam. It doesn't make sense to add the option either because nothing respawns.
yeah thats true, but some people might've missed sidequests or uncomplited treasure hunts.๐ค.. ohw well.. i'll be done before Atomfall!
Is it a stargate??
hell yeah im suprised avowed didnt get sued lol
Is there any armour/rings that provides an increase in Resolve? Basically I'm currently at lvl 9 resolve & I need to hit lvl 12 for a (I think) peaceful option. I can eat a wild mushroom stew which add 2 Ivls but I still need 1 additional but the only thing I can think off is finding an armour/ring that provides a resolve buff. Would appreciate if anyone could tell me if it's in the game & where I can find it
Some of the rings and gloves do give extra. Has to how you would get one I not sure there is away you just need to be lucky and find one. I didn't pay much attention to the resolve might and preception stuff
In fact you can reset your ability tree and apply more of what you need
Yeah this is what I ended up doing. Thanks for the help
Still playing this
On third area, just taking my time with it. For the most of time, xcloud has been great. Some moments of lag but glad I have the option.
About 25h in so probably play more now to finish the main questline.
Dunno if I messed up the second area but I got a quest failed pop up stepping out of a cave and events suggest it was avoidable ||burning of the city||. Hm, oh well
Finally finished it this week after 40-odd hours, enjoyed the journey. Not perfect but I liked it for the most part.
Having played Pillars of Eternity 1 helped a lot with the lore of adra and animancy. Though didn't play Deadfire so some gaps of knowledge there, might play that eventually but CRPGs feel tedious at times.
