@austere panther Thanks for posting! Please remember, support here is volunteer-based and not official. Be patient after posting, and don’t spam or ask in other channels.
If your issue is about accounts, billing, contact Xbox Support directly.
If your issue is related to an Enforcement action, no one here can help.
To help us help you, make sure to answer:
- What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)
- **What have you tried to do to fix it already? **(List everything you’ve done to fix it.)
- Have you searched the error code or for similar problems? (Tell us what you found.)
If you don’t answer these, you might not get a response.
It depends on the game and if it supports mods.
Oh, so it could be possible. Any way to see if it supports mods or not?
Cuphead is one of the older Windows Store games that can only be installed in the protected WindowsApps instead of the open XboxGames folder, thus it can not be modded.
If you want a moddable version of Cuphead, you'll need to get either the Steam or GOG Version.
Oh, thats too bad. For other games, is there a way i can figure out on my own if they can be modded or not?
All games that have their files accessible and can be installed in the XboxGames folder can technically be modded.
The installation window that asks for a location will say locations like "C:\XboxGames" for example, if a game can't be modded it warns you that it's installing in WindowsApps.
Here's some more info about what you need to know about mods for Xbox games: https://support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/game-setup-and-play/enable-pc-game-mods
And needless to say but you're obviously not supposed to mod online games to get unfair advantages or use it to cheat Achievements, cheating in any way can get you banned.
