i have gamepass on my console and wanted it on my pc so i signed out of my brothers xbox account and signed in with the account that had gamepass on it however when i went to go download a gamepass game it gave me purchasing options so i tried to set my new gamepass account as the store leader thing but nothing happened

Do you have Ultimate or Game Pass for Console? If you have the latter, it won't work on PC and you need to either get PC Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate.
