Does Wired Update for Series Controller Apply to Bluetooth Use?

Hi everyone,

I have a Series Controller that I use on my PC. Since I prefer wireless gameplay, I use a TP-Link UB500 Bluetooth Adapter to connect my controller. However, I also have a USB-C cable, which I use for wired connections when necessary, like installing updates for the controller.

Here’s my question: If I install an update using the USB wired method but then switch back to using the controller via Bluetooth, will the update still apply? Or is the update only effective when using the controller with the cable?

Sorry if this question seems silly, but I’m a bit of an amateur when it comes to these things. I appreciate any clarification!
