AFAIK, game sharing doesn't allow you to play the same game. You both need game pass in order to play the same game together.

It would allow you to because all licenses (excluding any in game bonus items) and subscriptions from the account that is set to home xbox will be usable on all other accounts on that Xbox (even when signed out).
