#roblox gift cards not giving the same value as buying from website

i got a 50$ xbox gift card for christmas, even though I don't play an XBOX, so i decided to use it on robux since that's the best thing i could think of getting

50$ on the website: 5,800 robux

50$ through gift cards: 4,400

i am missing an entire 1.4k robux from buying through gift cards

I assume you mean through the Roblox website?

The Roblox Store and the Xbox Store are two different stores. If you need to use Xbox credit, you need to use the Xbox Store. Roblox sets the price for Robux on each different store, and they've decided that what you're seeing is the price on the Xbox Store.
