@somber nova Thanks for posting! Please remember, support here is volunteer-based and not official. Be patient after posting, and don’t spam or ask in other channels.
If your issue is about accounts, billing, contact Xbox Support directly.
If your issue is related to an Enforcement action, no one here can help.
To help us help you, make sure to answer:
- What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)
- **What have you tried to do to fix it already? **(List everything you’ve done to fix it.)
- Have you searched the error code or for similar problems? (Tell us what you found.)
If you don’t answer these, you might not get a response.
I tried to log in his account to GameShare and he doesn't remember password and when I press forgot password it's a Gmail my friends parents don't have access too
Sharing passwords is a TOS violation. Game sharing outside your home is a TOS violation.
Oh well I didn't know that
Even if sharing passwords wasn't against the rules, it's extremely dangerous. If you guys ever got into a fight, the people with your passwords could totally destroy your account and/or get you banned.
And if your friend lost their password and they lost access to their email and they lost access to their backup email they’re in for a world of hurt regaining access to their account.
There is an account recovery form that they can use on the Xbox support site but it is slow and hard
True but I don't even know how to do any of that
And it was his idea I ran put of gamepass and we usually play this one game and he was like I can GameShare with you
