#mic muted permanently on xbox discord

hello can anyone urgently help me with this issue, ive looked online and nothing is there to help me with this issue, i can hear people but my mic is muted. ive used xbox party and know my mic works but discord isnt happy to use it. any fixes urgently would be amazing
