I’m trying to game share my games with someone but it’s not letting us play at same time

Are you sure you didn’t make it home xbox on his xbox then do the same on your xbox after as this would overwrite it

I made his account my home Xbox and my accounts home xbox i removed from my xbox

Remember that Home Xbox represents a console and it's a property of an account. An account can only have one Home Xbox. A console can have many accounts that have it as Home Xbox.
