I purchased the Premium edition of Star field as a preorder. I've already played it on Xbox. It says owned in the creations menu. It isn't installed.

I've tried on boosteroid as well and the Xbox version was presenting the exact same issue. Says I own it in game, can't play it and not installed.

No idea what to try to fix it.

Playing on a standard Nvidia Shield and a TCL TV. No change.

What does it do when you try to play it?

It's not installed. I can play without it fine. Any mods that require it say it's not installed. It shows it's not installed in the creations menu.

Looks like it was an issue with owning the preorder premium edition for Xbox, the regular edition for PC, the individual shattered space dlc And the premium upgrade for PC. A conflict of licenses (I shouldn't have had to waste money like that to get Xcloud to work)

Bgs and Microsoft and Xbox support are not able to help so far... Ridiculous

That’s odd, it should be the same license, it’s a play anyway title. Is your pc and Xbox the same account?

One of the support agents said it may be an issue with which account I'm using but he of course didn't look into it and directed on to the next company/agent in the circle. I've been at this since noon.

Have spoken at length to support from Xbox Microsoft and Bethesda. None know the issue, guessing not trained on Xcloud as there are no Xcloud related support topics... all attempt to redirect me to agents I've already spoken to. Recently got BGS to escalate. They'd be the third to do so.

After going through my purchase history, I used gamepass to play starfield until Shattered Space was about to launch. I got the premium upgrade for Xbox and beat shattered space. I wanted to play through gfn, wasn't working for same reason. I assumed it had something to do with me not owning the PC version. I bought the PC version. Didn't work. Then I bought the pc premium upgrade. Didn't work. Then I bought shattered space. Didn't work.

For those keeping track I spent about $100 specifically on shattered.

Tried out boosteroid. Same issue.

Thought to myself "surely this issue isn't on Xcloud"

You should request a refund on the premium edition or upgrade. No point on buying both. But just checking, you bought pc on the Xbox store right, not steam?

There should be no difference in the licenses between any of the things you listed. I'll ask around but you absolutely should not need to perform shenanigans to get the DLC to work.
