How do I log into my profile on xbox series s but erase my profile on xbox one

I got a xbox series s so I plan to sell my xbox one once I set it up but I'm worried factory resetting it will erase my account and I wanna log in to my account on the series s but I want to reset it because I might sell my xbox one so what do i do?

U only need to reset the xbox one

Factory reset wont delete any of your data from the cloud. Just remove everything from the console.

Your saves wont be erased unless u erase it urself
